My dear Victoria.
How does it go at home? are you and Johan allrigth? i hope you and our son are doing allrigth. Thank you for your last letter, especially the last words "the power behind you are ten times the strenght of the Obstacles
that lie ahead". I have no misgivings and i neither lack of confedens in our caus, Denmark was attacked and i know how Denmark now now needs to win this war. I think of this as my duty to do the same as thoose who went before us, Here we are preparing for the big assult, my battalion commander sayed that we are going to be in the first wawe of attack. So this migth be my last letter, if the enemy has luck. If this is to be my last letter then i will try and say as much as i can and hope that you at some time will read this.
Camilla you and i started as best friends do you remember the summer we stared dating?, we have had so ver very very many good times with each other. You have allways been there when i was down and you were the first person who made me fell like i was good enough like i was. I never thought I would be able to have such strong feeling for anybody. Camilla you are my dayligth, you arethe person who allways will get me to overcome the strongest obstacles.
Camilla i love you and my love for you is deathless, i want to come home to, and hold you and be together with you for the rest of my life, I'll see you again, when i get home, all that is neede to win this war is that we the Royal danish army will be apple to take the city.
As i write this letter down here in a muddy foxhole i sit sit with a picture of you and me frm our last schoolday, as i sit here all the all the happiest memories of our time together comes flying over me like a wind and makes me long even more after talking to you and hold you
